Our golden doodle has been going to Barks n' Rec since he was 5 months old and loves it like his second home. Matt and Christine treat him with love while teaching boundaries and pack socialization. As a first time dog owner, they've also helped me with regular advice and fun chats… but the best part is, our dog comes home (healthy, happy and) exhausted.

Barks n'Rec was the best discovery I have made in quite sometime. Matt and his team are great and always go above and beyond.
It is important to me that when I leave my baby (aka Rocky the Pug) I feel that I can walk away carefree for the day knowing he will be well looked after...and that is the case with Barks n'Rec.
I know for a fact that my dog is being looked after and taken care of as if he were their own.
When I went away on my honeymoon and left my dog for the week, knowing he was going home with Matt everyday and he would be cuddling up in Matt's bed as if he were at his own home, gave me a peace of mind that cannot be explained or described but allowed me to be worry free for the entirety of my honeymoon and vacation.
Any time I need to leave him over night, it is never a worry for me as I know he is having a blast and will always feel that he belongs to the pack...because Matt is a great pack leader.
For me the day care is out of my way but I make it a point to dropping off Rocky as much as possible as I know he LOVES!! it and is so well taken care of.
I have never been able to find a daycare where I had the sense that they were caring for him as if he were their dog but with Matt and his team I have no doubt that my sucky baby dog is getting pampered, cuddled and kisses just as much as if he were at home with me.
And if you have any doubts that they are taking care of your dog as if he were theirs....the best thing is that you can log on and see for yourself on the web cams....which I love to do just to see my little guy play all day.
If you are looking for a hands on, caring, loving and fun packed daycare...there is no need to look further...I have nothing but good things to say about Barks n'Rec.
They have ALWAYS gone above and beyond for me and my dog.

If it wasn't for Barks N Rec, we'd still be playing 4 hours of frisbee after work...each and every night! Chloe's social skills improved a lot and now I don't worry when she meets another dog.
We are very comfortable leaving her with Matt when we go on a vacation.

Barks N Rec is very impressive! It is modern, organized, and tidy. I knew from the moment I met Matt for a tour of his facility, that my dogs would be in good hands. I trust the staff entirely with my dogs, and having the option to check in on my dogs during the day via webcam is a bonus!
The dogs love spending their days at Barks N Rec. They whine in anticipation when we arrive in the parking lot! I would suggest Barks N Rec to any pet parent. I can safely say that dogs and owners will not be disappointed!

I wanted to thank you so much for watching our boys over the weekend. I'm sure you know its hard to find someone you could trust with your dogs. It helps to know that you have the patience and a love for dogs, just as we do.
I am so glad that you found them enjoyable and behaved. As an owner, you don`t realize how much your love and training pays off until a fellow dog owner pays you a compliment just as you have. They are still puppies...so we know we have a long way to go to perfect dogs. :)
Since our daughter has moved to Montreal to go to school, we will definitely be asking you to watch our babies again.
Thanks again for taking such good care of our boys...I`m sure if they could speak...they would say that they would love to come over again!

To be fully honest I was just about at the end of my rope when it came to Zabbi our 6 year old Jack Russel and her never ending energy!!!! Anyone with a high energy breed can relate I am sure. All changed when I found Barks, thanks to the excellent staff and great group of dog’s that attend we now only spend an hour a day on walks. We used to be out for 1.5 hours in the a.m and another 1.5 hours in the evenings. I highly recommend Barks n rec to all other dog owners, thanks again Matt and Kristine

Barks n Rec has been a blessing for myself and my boy Enzo, I recently changed jobs and with my commute Enzo was left alone for up to 11 sometimes 12 hours!!! I knew right away something was going to have to give, once I found Barks and brought Enzo in for his assessment I was sold right away. Such an amazing staff, and spotlessly clean facility I had no concerns leaving my boy with them for the day. I can tell he love’s going for the day because he is literally scratching the door to get in, and I have to drag him out when its time to leave, even though his tongue is hangin’ he still wants more. That’s a Bull Terrier for ya :)
